STEM Essay Writing Workshop – Freshers

We will cover the structure of different types of scientific reports and what is included in each section, how to conduct and organise a literature search, distinguishing between different types of evidence, and generating conclusions from your reading. The session will be one hour and interactive, so bring some paper and a pen! Hope to see you there.

Sam is the College’s Graduate Fellow, currently undertaking a PhD in Medicine at the University of Sydney and a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at James Cook University. She previously completed a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies program while living here at College and will be running two workshops focused on improving students’ scientific report writing skills.
