Scholarships
Interested in a scholarship? Talk to the Vice Principal! Scholarships can be pretty difficult to get, and she can help you with writing your application.
Not interested in a scholarship? It’s worth considering again before you make up your mind. Some of these scholarships are small, but receiving one scholarship increases the chance that you get more scholarships. In fact, the unfortunate thing about scholarships is that they abide by the “Matthew Effect”. It can be pretty difficult to get any scholarships without already having one. So, it might be worth pursuing one now while you can turn to our Vice Principal for help.
And, please remember that the list provided here is for convenience only. It is by no means complete. Do not be discouraged if these are not the scholarships for you!
Scholarships at Women’s
Women’s College scholarships are awarded every year, and most offset part of your College fees (they are not paid in cash).
House Committee, Resident Assistant and Academic Assistant Scholarships: Students elected to positions on the House Committee, or appointed as RAs and AAs, are awarded scholarships of varying amounts.
Other TWC Scholarships: The Women’s College also awards general scholarships based on academic merit, leadership, contribution to the College and/or University, and financial need.
