Students are invited to nominate for positions on the House Committee for 2027. If you are interested in nominating, please read the position description (‘PD’) for your preferred role/s below, and follow the instructions in the timeline below.
Students in any year are eligible and encouraged to apply for positions – please read the Voting Guidelines (here) for more information.
Please note that all students elected to positions must be available for Leaders’ Handover Day (9 November 2026), Leaders’ Week (8-12 February 2027), Welcome Week (15-19 February 2027) and Welcome Back inductions (28-30 July 2027).

5.00pm Friday 11 September Deadline for all candidates. Candidates for all positions must nominate themselves formally using the nomination form (last page of the Voting Guidelines, link here) AND must submit a 200 word nomination statement (see example nomination statement below. Format: Word document please; no PDFs). Submission of 90 second video statements for non-executive positions also due on this date. Submission of both the nomination form, video and nomination (candidate) statement/s is by emailing the House Committee Secretary and the Vice Principal.
now until Wednesday 16 September Candidates for all Executive positions must also arrange to meet with the incumbent House Committee member and her staff mentor during this period.
now until Wednesday 7 October Candidates for all non-executive positions must also arrange to meet with the incumbent House Committee member and her staff mentor during this period.
Monday 21 September Candidate speeches given at a Formal Dinner presentation by all those nominating for Executive positions: Senior Student, Secretary/Vice Senior Student and Treasurer.
Tuesday 22 September First round voting opens for Executive positions at midday, and closes at midday on Thursday 24 September. Voting instructions will be sent to all students from CorpVote, the company College has engaged to conduct the election online.
Friday 25 September Results of Executive election announced.
Wednesday 7 October Last date to withdraw candidature for non-executive positions.
Tuesday 13 October Second round voting opens for non-executive positions at midday, and closes at midday on Thursday 15 October. Voting instructions will be sent to all students from CorpVote.
Friday 16 October Results of second round election announced.
